The Mizuno Wave Paradox 3 updates the premium model from japanese brand with maximum cushioning and top materials intended for runners looking for moderate to severe pronation support, just one step above its smaller sibling Inspire 12. Although current third edition is slightly lighter and more flexible than preceding one, the Paradox 3 is by no means an agile running shoe and performs best in daily training and long runs.
As usual in annual updates not many changes compared to its predecessor Wave Paradox 2. Upper has been redesigned replacing typical AirMesh with more resistant breathable mesh with stitched overlays for a more supportive fit. As many other Mizuno models internal stripes (Dynamotion Fit™) follow foot movement featuring a secure transition.
Paradox 3 has reengineered its midsole platform where major highlight is the new U4icX in the heel for improved shock absorption and softer touch. Rest of midsole includes double fan Wave® to provide a stable ride increasing torsional rigidity between the heel and forefoot and full length layer of U4ic foam for huge cushioning and smooth ride. Outsole has been redesigned for enhanced flexibility featuring a more natural ride while still using X10 rubber in more exposed areas to increase durability.
