The solid Under Armour Charged Bandit 2 is kind of SpeedForm Fortis 2 for runners looking for specific pronation control and great blend of cushioning and response. It is a great choice for daily trainings and racing long distances up to marathon.
Current second edition seems a completely different running shoe from original Charged Bandit making even difficult to understand why Under Armour decided to keep naming. Anyway, upper reminds flagship SpeedForm Gemini 2 including plastic "clip" structure in heel counter for improved stability. Ultrasonic welded seaming with Bemis tape joins more rigid rearside with breathable knit mesh delivering superb comfort and snug fit.
Two-piece Charged® cushioning midsole is more solid in the heel (combined there with Micro G®) and softer in the forefoot featuring superb blend of support and comfort for reliable performance. Outsole design is much more traditional than typical one from Under Armour with strategic flex grooves for smooth transition and harder rubber in more exposed areas for increased durability.
